Ms Kipchumba is convicted of robbing Sh311,900 worth of gold items and a range of jewellery worth a million Sh1 from Anei Achol Malong Awan. She met Ms Awan in a living room where she worked until they became friends later. On 7 December, the case will be mentioned.
She mentioned the matter to the police, and the numerous things belonging to Kejiadu were allegedly retrieved during a search at Ms. Kipchumba's home. Ms Kipchumba, however, refuted the robbery allegations before Senior Chief Magistrate Esther Bhoke of the Kibera Court of Justice. She was released on a Sh500,000 bond and an additional cash bail of Sh50,000. The matter will be listened to on 7 December.
